Smart Advanced Systems GmbH is a young, dynamic company founded in 2016. The company has exclusively acquired patent and marketing rights for new polymeric materials from a German research institute. This enables us to offer our customers innovative products and solutions in the areas of

• PCM materials (phase change materials for thermal management) as granules and films for thermoplastic processing and coatings

For the development and optimization of your products and applications, we produce tailor-made materials for you, organize value chains and look for suitable partner companies or research and development partners for you. The PTC filaments are plastics, so-called "cold conductors", whose resistance is lower in cold state than in the heated state. This is the basis of a self-regulation of electrical heating materials.

Together with you, we develop specific product solutions for the design of self-regulating heating, switching and sensor elements. In addition to the innovative energy-saving heat generation via polymeric PTC heating elements, heat storage with polymeric materials is of just such importance. This is where our PCM technology has a key role to play. Polymer mixtures in the form of adapted phase change materials open up new design possibilities for thermal management. The highly productive thermoplastic processing provides the basis for a very effective production. The PCM compounds are adjustable over a wide range in terms of their melting and solidification point and have excellent cycle stability. The heatstorage capacity can be up to 200 kJ/kg. Our PCM materials perfectly improve the energy management and heat balance of your products and applications. The products are available as granules, foils or hotmelt systems.
